As the party responsible for this website in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April 2016 (RGPD), on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as Law 34/2002, of 11 July, o Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage hereby informs you that it has implemented the necessary technical and organisational security measures to ensure and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data entered.

The Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage manages the following cultural facilities:

• Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia
• National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona
• Museum os Science and Technology
• Museum of the History of Catalonia
• Girona Art Museum
• Movable Assets Restoration Centre of Catalonia

Purpose of processing

Your personal data will be used for the following purposes:

• to perform the necessary commercial and administrative procedures with the users of this website;
• to send commercial advertising or social communications by email, through social media communities or by any other electronic or physical means if the user has expressly consented to the sending of commercial communications by electronic means by subscribing to the electronic newsletter;
• to respond to queries and/or to provide information requested by the user;
• to provide the services and/or products contracted or subscribed to by the user;
• to use your data to contact you, both electronically and non-electronically, in order to obtain your opinion on the service provided; and,
• to use your data to hold draws and competitions, given that you expressly consent to the use of your data for the purposes of these prize draws and competitions;

• to process the data of customers and/or suppliers as part of the contractual relationship that binds them to the responsible party, in compliace with the administrative, fiscal, accounting and labour obligations required under current legislation; and
• to use the data for study, statistical and loyalty purposes.

In accordance with the LSSICE, the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage does not engage in SPAM practices and therefore does not send commercial emails that have not been previously requested or authorised by the user. The user therefore has the possibility of cancelling his or her express consent to receive our communications in all of those that he or she will receive from the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage.

We will not process your personal data for any other purposes other those described above except by legal obligation or court order.

Your data will be kept for the duration of your business relationship with us or as long as you exercise your right to cancel, oppose or limit the processing of these data. But we will retain specific personal identification and traffic data for a maximum period of 2 years in the event that we are required to do so by the courts or to initiate internal proceedings arising from misuse of this website.

You will not be subject to decisions based on automated processing that effect your data.

Legitimation of the processing

The legal basis for the data processing is the consent you give for the purposes described above, and this consent will be requested at the time of ticking the corresponding box when collecting your data.

Failure to provide the personal data requested or not accepting this data protection policy means the impossibility of subscribing, registering or receiving information about the provider's products and services.

If there is a prior contractual relationship between the parties, the legitimacy for implementing administrative, tax, accounting and labour obligations that are required under current legislation will be the prior existence of the business relationship established between the parties.

Communications

Any communication sent will be incorporated into the information systems of the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage. If the user has expressly consented to the sending of commercial communications electronically by subscribing to the electronic newletter, the sending of these communications by electronic means to inform users of the activities, services, promotions, advertising, news, offers and other information about the services and products of the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage that are the same or similar to those that were initially contracted or of interest to the user.

The storing of the data for the periods contemplated in the applicable provisions.

Official means of communication

The user is informed that the means enabled by the company to communicate with customers and other affected parties are the company's corporate telephone number, mobile phone numbers and email address.

Recipients of assignments and transfers

The Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage does not conduct any transfer or communication of data either within or outside the EU. • As a user, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing conducted prior to the withdrawal of this consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that your rights in relation to the protection of your data may have been infringed (agpd.es).

Information we collect

We obtain the minimum essential information by means of a subscription form. You will provide the following information in this form: email, address, full name, postcode and country.

Social media

We inform you that the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage may have a social media presence. The data processing of persons who become social media followers (and/or conduct any connecting link or action through social media) of the official pages of the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage will be governed by this section, as well as the conditions of use, privacy policies and access regulations that belong to the social media in question in each case and have previously been accepted by the user.

The Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage organises promotional activities based on the use of statistical data from each social media network.

The Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage will process your data for the purposes of correctly managing your social media presence, informing you of the provider's activities, products or services, as well as for any other purpose that the regulations of social media networks allow.

The publication of the following content is prohibited:

• content that is allegedly unlawful by national, community or international regulations or that carries out allegedly unlawful activities or contravenes the principles of good faith;
• content that violates the fundamental rights of individuals, violates online courtesy, distrubs or may generate negative opinions in our users or third parties and generally any content that the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage deems inappropriate; and
• content that generally contravene the principles of legality, honesty, responsibility, protection of human dignity, protection of minors, protection of public order, protection of privacy, consumer protection and intellectual and industrial property rights. 

Likewise, the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage reserves the right to remove from the website or corporate social media network any content deemed inappropriate without prior notice.

Communications sent through social media networks will be incorporated into an archive owned by the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage, which may send you information of interest to you. You can access more information in this privacy policy.

In any case, if  you send personal information through social media, the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage will be exempt from liability in relation to the security measures applicable to the present platform, and it is up to the user to find out about these by consulting the corresponding specific conditions of the social media network in question.

Security measures

The data you provide will be treated confidentially. The provide has adopted all the technical and organisational measures and all the required levels of protection to ensure security in the processing of data and avoid their alteration, loss, theft and unauthorised processing or access in accordance with the state of technology and the nature of the data stored. Likewise, it also ensures that the processing and recording in files, programmes, systems or equipment, premises and centres comply with the requirements and conditions of integrity and security established in current regulations.

Sending CVs

If users send their CVs via our website or by post, the data provided will be processed in order to manage calls for the provision of jobs, for the management of selection processes, for sending information to the units concerned and for preparing internal studies and statistics.

If there are any changes to your data, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible in order to ensure that they are up to date.

The data will be kept for a maximum period of two years, after which time they will be deleted, thereby ensuring for you total respect for confidentiality both in their processing and in their subsequent destruction. Once this time has elapsed, you will therefore need to send us your CV again if you wish to continue participating in the selection processes of the person in charge.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage reserves the right to modify this policy in order to adapt it to new legislation or jurisprudence.

Legislation

To all effects and purposes, the relations between the Catalan Agency of Cultural Heritage and users of its telematic services contained on this website are subject to Spanish legislation and jurisdiction, and both parties expressly submiit themselves to the courts and tribunals of Barcelona as the authority to resolve any conflicts arising from or related to their use.
